Solo Loop Artist Justin Ra is The Founder of the Music Genre: "Galactic Jungle Music"
Hi Justin Ra, I found your music online and your music is very unique. You seem a true creative soul.
Can you tell in short about yourself as an artist and what kind of music you make?
I am Justin Ra, a solo loop artist from St. Louis Missouri. I play the didgeridoo, djembe, guitar, keyboard and sing all while live looping creating a style I like to call “Galactic Jungle Music”.

I would have a little more confidence in myself early on to have started my solo career sooner.
What are you the most proud of in your career as an artist?
The feedback from creating my own genre and all the amazing people and musicians I get to meet and collaborate with.
What does your day look like?
My day starts with stretching, eating good nutrients and then drinking green tea while I run through my guitar warmups. Then I run through my songs and write new ideas as I’m learning new things everyday about the relationship of sound. I like to take walks throughout the day as well to keep my mind clear. This is just one of the many types of days I have. Some days I have to stretch, eat, drink tea and then go perform or rehearse with a different group I play with. I also love the outdoors so on days off I spend most of my time outside hiking, camping, skateboarding, snowboarding, kayaking etc.

What makes you are on the road a lot as an artist?
My solo career really kicked off the summer of 2019 with a tour planned for 2020 but with Covid that was put on pause. In that time I realized I should utilize technology and make good social media content to get fans across the world while staying safe.
Which people are you surrounded with the most?
Friends, family, musicians and creatives alike.
Do you feel your art or music is influenced by other people / music / art? Can you tell us more about it?
We all have our influences as we grow and find what makes us, I am surrounded by the most inspirational people and it helps me to be better everyday.
How do you see yourself and how would you describe yourself?
Very active, high energy, extremely silly, love music, love nature, love friends and family, hopeful for peace, love and growth of the human race.
What we expect from you in the near future, being your audience?
I am working on my next album which has a planned release for late spring/early summer 2022. Also, lots of videos and other social media content and in the near future touring!
